Reservationist & Front Desk

The Holly Campground is seeking a Front Desk and Reservation Specialist who strives to create a memorable welcome, a smooth stay, and a warm farewell for every guest. You will assist with check-in and check-out, respond to inquiries, support on-site events, and curate meaningful interactions to ensure guests’ satisfaction and delight. • Sales and Reservations: Handle incoming inquiries and convert them into confirmed reservations through phone, email, and chat.
• Guest Assistance: Help guests select accommodations and services that match their preferences, upselling when appropriate.
• Reservation Management: Process reservations, payments, cancellations, and re-bookings with accuracy.
• Revenue Maximization: Use sales techniques to upsell additional services and exceed revenue targets.
• Customer Service Excellence: Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
• Warmly greet and welcome guests, supporting check-in, check-out, and accommodation assignments.
• Assist with guest requests, including on-site needs and local recommendations.
• Proactively resolve guest complaints and facilitate re-bookings..
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and guest-facing areas.
• Oversee store & sales inventory

This position may also see some food services handling such is scoop ice cream and pizza sales.

• A passion for customer service.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sales or customer service role.
• Tech-savvy with experience using cloud-based systems and Google Suite.
• Availability to work weekdays (Monday-Friday).
• Strong sales, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Previous experience in the outdoor hospitality industry or related field is a plus
• Resides within driving distance of The Holly Campground in Holly, MI

Position Type: Full-Time/Seasonal 

Wage: $13.00 - $15.00 BOE
